翟学礼，男，汉族，1948年2月出生于江苏盐城。中医师，大专学历。现任江苏省盐城市城南翟氏中医诊所传承导师，兼任中国抗癌协会会员、世界中医药协会传承导师、国家中医药优秀专家、中华名医首席专家等职。

Zhai Xueli, male, Han ethnicity, was born in February 1948 in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. He is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner with an associate degree. Currently, he serves as the inheritance mentor at the Zhai Family TCM Clinic in Chengnan, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. He also holds multiple prestigious titles, including member of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, inheritance mentor of the World Association of Chinese Medicine, National Outstanding Expert in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Chief Expert of the Chinese Famous Physicians Association.

早年赤脚医生时期

During my early years as a barefoot doctor

1965年5月，年仅17岁的翟学礼通过县卫生局考核，成为第一代“赤脚医生”，担任洪渡村卫生室负责人。在基层的艰苦条件下，他一边为群众防病治病，一边刻苦钻研中医经典，积累了丰富的临床经验。因其医术适用、医德高尚，连年被评为先进，在盐城县卫生系统小有名声。

In May 1965, at the age of 17, Zhai Xueli passed the assessment conducted by the County Health Bureau and became one of the first generation of "barefoot doctors," assuming the role of head of the Hongdu Village Health Clinic. Under the challenging conditions at the grassroots level, he not only provided disease prevention and treatment services to the community but also diligently studied classical texts of Traditional Chinese Medicine, accumulating extensive clinical experience. Due to his practical medical expertise and exemplary medical ethics, he was repeatedly recognized as an outstanding professional and gained considerable renown within the Yancheng County health system.

In 1971, Zhai Xueli earned high praise from General Xu Shiyou for his unique "Three Earths and One Needle" technique and expertise in the three defense strategies against nuclear, chemical, and bacterial threats. Xu Shiyou ordered practicing physicians—including experts, professors, and doctors—from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui provinces, and Shanghai municipality to visit the Hongdu Health Clinic to study under Zhai Xueli. This learning exchange program lasted for more than two years, involving over 100,000 participants. This initiative not only highlighted Zhai Xueli's prominent status in the medical community at the time but also laid the foundation for subsequent academic inheritance of his knowledge.

Subsequently, Zhai Xueli continuously enhanced his theoretical knowledge through advanced studies. He has long adhered to an integrated approach of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in diagnosis and treatment, achieving outstanding accomplishments particularly in pediatrics and the management of complex and critical conditions. From 2001 to 2004, he was appointed as a "Visiting Professor" by the Canadian World Association of Chinese Medicine and received honors such as the "World Chinese Medical Achievement Award" and the "Hua Tuo Cup Innovation and Invention Award."

In 1971, during an inspection of primary healthcare services, General Xu Shiyou personally named Zhai Xueli and instructed military and civilian physicians across the country to learn from his expertise in the "Three Traditional Methods and One Needling Technique" as well as the "Three Preventive Measures for War Relief." This directive not only affirmed Zhai Xueli's individual medical prowess but also represented official recognition of the value of traditional Chinese medicine in emergency treatment and primary healthcare. This milestone became a significant turning point in Zhai Xueli's medical career.

翟学礼通过长期临床观察发现，在医院诊断为癌症的患者中，约有55%属于“假性癌症”，即影像学或实验室检查显示异常，但并非真正的恶性肿瘤。这是物理幅射等因素导致良性病变，无实质包块，也无蛋壳状包膜，CT影像多呈现斑点、柱型或火焰状。

Through long-term clinical observations, Zhai Xueli found that approximately 55% of patients diagnosed with cancer in hospitals belonged to "pseudo-cancer," where imaging or laboratory examinations revealed abnormalities but no actual malignant tumors. These cases resulted from benign lesions caused by physical radiation factors, lacking substantial masses or eggshell-like capsules, with CT images typically exhibiting speckled, columnar, or flame-shaped patterns.

如果通过中医调理即可完全治愈。他坚决反对“癌症一切了之”的片面认知，提出癌症并非外来“外敌”，而是内外失衡导致的内乱。癌细胞由正常细胞转化而来，并非只能切除，更可通过药物干预实现“松解、分散、代谢”。。这些“假癌症”多因情绪抑郁、寒湿积聚、气血瘀堵等内外失衡因素导致，若被误判为真癌而接受手术、放化疗，不仅浪费医疗资源，更可能导致患者身体崩溃甚至死亡。

Complete recovery can be achieved through Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) regulation. He firmly opposes the one-sided perception of "completely curing cancer," proposing that cancer is not an external "enemy" but rather an internal disorder resulting from imbalance between internal and external factors. Cancer cells originate from normal cells and cannot be merely removed; instead, pharmacological interventions can achieve "relaxation, dispersion, and metabolism." These "pseudo-cancers" are predominantly caused by imbalances such as emotional depression, accumulation of cold-dampness, and qi-blood stasis. Misdiagnosing them as true cancers and subjecting patients to surgery, radiotherapy, or chemotherapy not only wastes medical resources but may also lead to physical collapse or even death.

翟学礼强调，癌症是“内外失衡导致的‘内乱’”，治疗不应简单切除，而应综合施治、甚至实现癌细胞的“改造”。他主张采用“培本扶正法”，通过扶助正气、补本元来调节人体阴阳气血和脏腑经络功能，唤醒患者的潜在抗病免疫力，达到“阴平阳秘，精神乃治”的目标。这一理念与汤钊猷院士、近藤诚等国内外专家的观点不谋而合。

Zhai Xueli emphasized that cancer is a "internal disorder caused by an imbalance between internal and external factors," and its treatment should not merely involve surgical resection but rather adopt a comprehensive approach—even achieving the "transformation" of cancer cells. He advocated for the "Fundamental Support and Vital Energy Enhancement Method," which aims to regulate the body's yin-yang, qi-blood, and visceral meridian functions by reinforcing vital energy and replenishing the fundamental constitution, thereby awakening the patient's latent disease-resistant immunity to achieve the goal of "balancing yin and yang to restore mental well-being." This philosophy aligns perfectly with the views of domestic and international experts such as Academician Tang Zhaoyou and Kondo Sei.

1.肝癌晚期

1 Advanced liver cancer

·患者沙某某，男，48岁，2015年3月被多家三甲医院诊断为肝癌晚期，医院认为已无法手术、放化疗，建议回家安排后事。经翟学礼中药汤剂治疗45天，肝癌得到控制，后续维护三年，患者恢复健康（后因车祸不幸身亡）。

The patient, Mr.Sha, male, 48 years old, was diagnosed with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) by multiple tertiary Grade A hospitals in March 2015. The hospitals concluded that surgical intervention, radiotherapy, or chemotherapy were no longer feasible, and recommended that he return home to arrange his funeral arrangements. After 45 days of treatment with Zhai Xueli's traditional Chinese herbal decoction, the HCC was effectively controlled. Subsequent three years of maintenance therapy resulted in the patient's recovery (he subsequently passed away due to a traffic accident).

The patient, Mr.Liang, a 69-year-old male, was diagnosed with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) by multiple oncology hospitals in March 2021. His condition worsened after undergoing Western chemotherapy. He subsequently sought treatment from Dr. Zhai Xueli and, after 45 days of traditional Chinese medicine therapy, experienced resolution of abdominal distension, improved appetite, and significant enhancement in vitality and mental state. He is now living a normal and healthy life.

The patient, Ms.Deng, a 63-year-old female, was diagnosed in January 2015 with advanced gallbladder cancer accompanied by hepatocellular carcinoma and extensive peritoneal metastases. The hospital estimated her life expectancy to be only a few hours. After receiving treatment from Zhai Xueli, a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) surgeon, along with herbal medicine therapy, her condition improved significantly and she fully recovered. Over a decade has passed since then, and she continues to work normally and manage household chores.

The patient, Ms.Qiu, a 58-year-old female, was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2022 and recommended surgical resection combined with chemoradiotherapy. In 2021, Ding was diagnosed with advanced-stage lung cancer at major hospitals in Shanghai and Beijing, and underwent resection of the right lung lobe. Despite treatments including anticancer drugs and chemotherapy, his condition remained uncontrolled and even began to deteriorate. Following a final consultation, it was concluded that his survival time was only 3–5 days. Upon recommendation from others, he visited Zhai Xueli by car. After taking traditional Chinese herbal decoctions for 45 days, the tumor mass disappeared, and tumor marker levels returned to normal. To date, he continues to live and work in good health.

·烧烫伤：盐城患者张扣年，2009年因火灾烧伤面目全非，翟学礼采用其发明专利的“排毒生肌中药膏”进行湿性疗法，19天恢复皮肤原貌，仅花费5000元。

Burn injury: Zhang Kuonian, a patient from Yancheng, suffered severe facial burns in a fire in 2009.
