朱继善(笔名朱兵)，号黄山之子，1942年出生于中国黄山市歙州，大专毕业。自幼喜爱书画，1959年开始从事艺术学习与创作至今，先后又在浙江美术学院等艺术院校和画院进修学习多年。60年代初曾拜艺术大师潘天寿先生为师，多次得到大师的指点与教诲，多次在国内举办个人画展，多幅作品被国家有关部委、博物馆、美术馆、纪念馆及加拿大、意大利、日本、台湾、香港等国内外高价收藏。作品获过省级及国家级金奖与一等奖，并获联合国和平艺术奖、联合国终身艺术成就奖、首届国际金鹰奖、联合国重点推荐艺术名家、联合国和平艺术大使，并有作品在日本东京及美国纽约展出并获金奖及终身成就奖。代表作有《水库晨曲》、《黄山云海》、碳素钢笔画《百村千幢图》百米长卷(110米)、中国画《梦游千里古徽州》百米长卷(268米)、《中国第一奇山——黄山》百米长卷(168米)。

现为中国文联名誉副主席、顾问、中国艺术家协会副主席、中国国画院副院长、中国美术家协会理事、中国书法家协会会员、香港世界著名艺术家联合会国际委员、北京齐白石艺术研究会会员、新安画派研究会副会长、香港高等教育研究生院美术客座教授、瑞典皇家艺术学院荣誉博士(获瑞典皇家北极星勋章)、原歙州博物馆馆长、美术师(现为国家一级美术师、教授)。中宣部、文化部、人民日报社、国务院发展研究中心等八部门共同授予“新时代文化艺术大师”称号，中共中央党史研究室、党和国家功勋荣誉表彰工作委员会授予“建党百年功勋艺术家”荣誉称号。

Zhu Jishan (pseudonym Zhu Bing), No. son of Huangshan, was born in Shezhou, Huangshan City, China in 1942 and graduated from college. He loved calligraphy and painting since childhood. He began to study and create art in 1959. So far, he has studied in art colleges and painting academies such as Zhejiang Academy of fine arts for many years. In the early 1960s, he worshipped the art Master Mr. Pan Tianshou as his teacher, received the guidance and instruction of the master for many times, and held personal painting exhibitions in China for many times. Many works were collected at high prices by relevant national ministries and commissions, museums, art galleries, memorials, Canada, Italy, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other countries at home and abroad. His works have won provincial and national gold awards and first prizes, as well as the United Nations peace Art Award, the United Nations lifetime artistic achievement award, the first international Golden Eagle Award, the United Nations key recommended artists and the United Nations peace art ambassador. His works have been exhibited in Tokyo, Japan and New York, USA, and won gold awards and lifetime achievement awards. His representative works include the morning song of the reservoir, the sea of clouds in Huangshan Mountain, the 100 meter long scroll (110 meters) of the picture of hundreds of villages and thousands of buildings painted with carbon pen, the 100 meter long scroll (268 meters) of the Chinese painting sleepwalking in Huizhou thousands of miles away, and the 100 meter long scroll (168 meters) of Huangshan, the first Wonder Mountain in China.

At present, he is honorary vice chairman and consultant of China Federation of literary and art circles, vice chairman of China Artists Association, vice president of Chinese Academy of traditional Chinese painting, director of China Artists Association, member of China Calligraphers Association, international member of Hong Kong World Famous Artists Federation, member of Beijing Qi Baishi Art Research Association, vice president of Xin'an Painting Research Association, visiting professor of fine arts of Hong Kong Graduate School of higher education Honorary doctor of the Royal Swedish Academy of Art (awarded the Royal Swedish Polaris medal), former curator and artist of Shezhou Museum (now a national first-class artist and Professor). Eight departments, including the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of culture, the people's daily and the development research center of the State Council, jointly awarded the title of "master of culture and art in the new era", and the Party History Research Office of the CPC Central Committee and the party and state meritorious service honorary recognition working committee awarded the honorary title of "artist with meritorious service for one hundred years since the founding of the party".
