Liu Yanchao, pen name: iron rock. Born in October, 1941, native place: Guangdong. Mr. Zeng learned Chinese painting from Mr. Wang lanruo, a famous painter in Guangdong Province, and Mr. Liang Liusheng, a painter and collector, and basically understood the essence of pen and ink. Later, he lived in Xi'an and studied calligraphy at the same time. Currently, he is a national first-class artist, a member of the Chinese couplet Association, a member of the Chinese Calligraphy Academy, a member of the Shaanxi Calligraphy Association, an executive director of the China calligraphy and Painting Art Promotion Association, a member of the art development center of the China Local Art Association, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, and an honorary president of the Beijing contemporary Huanqiu calligraphy and painting academy.

书法作品曾多次在国内、国际大赛中获奖，如毛泽东诗词全国书画大赛金奖等，曾随“中国书法美术代表团”出访日本、美国，有作品展出及被对方收藏。书法作品还曾在台湾、新加坡、马来西亚、泰国和迪拜展出，并得到好评。2010年，世界艺术家联合会为其颁发 “世界书画艺术家”奖牌及证书。2011年入选中共中央党校“百名书画名家邀请展”并有作品被中央党校收藏。2012年5月在首届中华国粹论坛暨《兰亭序》问世1660周年中华诗书画大赛中书法作品荣获“创作一等奖”。2015年8月书法作品毛泽东词《咏梅》被人民大会堂收藏。近年并有五十多幅书法作品入选有“国家名片”之称——邮票的印制。

In August 2015, the calligraphy work Mao Zedong's poem "Yongmei" was collected by the Great Hall of the people. In recent years, more than 50 calligraphy works have been selected as the "national business card" - the printing of stamps.

兴来畅叙胸中气    翰不虚动法正宗

――记著名书法家刘延超

无论是张旭草书的妙于肥，还是怀素草书的妙于瘦，其在书法文化史上的崇高地位，并不是肥瘦形态所决定的，而是贵在以书抒情的非凡表现力，触动了人们的视觉和心念，把他们推上了以狂济癫草书颠峰。当代著名书法家刘延远超前辈，磨练草书技法，也是依草圣以书抒情的本质而进取，也非常重视书法畅怀的魅力，成为当代草书可以狂来轻世界醉里得真如的又一位优秀表现者。

在结构上他写草书平欹相成，在重心稳定的前提下，表现左顾右盼状如楚汉相攻战的动态结构，通过姿态万般的调节塑造，让书法生成了活灵活现，不呆不板的笔墨精妙。或凌渊战栗，临危据槁，种种结构，都是发源于自然，不造作也不娇柔，一笔横过来，依竖笔，竖笔激落，组成绝岸颓峰的结体姿态，远远望去注岸崩涯，近观则是狡兔暴骇，将奔未驰。这种体式的灵活构造，让他的草书显得字内字外，皆是姿态万千，穿插错落，一任自然！

他的书法非常重视墨色的变化，用墨色的浓淡干湿来表现书法的气韵生动，导之泉注，顿之山安。细腻的墨色纤纤如新月之出天涯，顿挫有力的墨色如奔雷坠石。当许多书家并不太在意墨色的表现时，他的书法却是不失于笔，也不失于墨，果然是笔墨合成的书法精髓。

兴来畅叙胸中气，翰不虚动法正宗。当代草书粗头乱服者有之，这是江湖体。娇柔造作者有之，这是展览体。无论是粗头乱服的江湖体，还是矫揉造作的展览体，都无法表现传统书法的龙脉格局。刘延超经过春秋不辍的磨练，再加上天赋才华的智慧推动，写书法法度严谨，师碑帖取法为上，书法传承晋韵风采，也写唐风正大，有正气是上品，神充气足，当然可见利用书法传承文化的大家风范！
