王旭东，原籍山东省夏津县，一九五二年二月生于河北邯郸，邯郸市工人文化宫正高级研究馆员，中国书法家协会会员、中国文联书画艺术交流中心理事、河北省书协1一4届理事，五届主席团委员。中国硬笔书协理事、河北省硬笔书协副主席、邯郸市书法家协会名誉主席、市硬笔书协主席、赵都书画艺术研究院院长。

Wang Xudong, originally from Xiajin County, Shandong Province, was born in Handan, Hebei Province in February 1952, is a senior research librarian of Handan Workers' Cultural Palace, member of Chinese Calligraphers Association, director of Painting and Calligraphy Art Exchange Center of Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Cir, 114th director of Hebei Calligraphy Association, and member of the fifth presidium. Director of China Hard Calligraphy Association, vice chairman of Hebei Hard Calligraphy Association, honorary chairman of Handan Calligraphers Association, chairman of Handan Hard Calligraphy Association, president of Zhao Du Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute.

自一九七七年专业从事书画工作，一九八二年担任文化宫宣科长，一九八三年受市文联委托、文化宫委派筹建邯郸市书协，任法人，担任副主席兼秘书长27年，主持日常工作。个人书法由唐楷入手，广临百家，善行书、通篆隶，重雄强，形式不拘一格。

作品近百次参加省内外各类展览，作品并先后至日本、新加坡、韩国、美国、俄罗斯、马来西亚及港、澳、台等地展出。曾获中国文联一九九九百杰书法家称号；入选中国书协、中国美协首届孺子牛杯大展；获河北省燕赵群星奖金奖等诸多奖励。多年来注重书法教育，为邯郸培养出一大批书法新人。近年来亲自施教把邯郸艺术高中第一批书法专业学生带入大学。50余次策划组织省、市大型书画活动。

His works have participated in various kinds of exhibitions inside and outside the province for nearly 100 times, and his works have been exhibited in Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the United States, Russia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other places successively. He has won the title of 19990 best calligrapher in the first exhibition of Chinese Calligraphy Association and Chinese Artists Association, and so on. Over the years, pay attention to calligraphy education, for Handan trained a large number of new calligraphy. In recent years, I have personally taught the first batch of calligraphy students from Handan Art High School to the university. More than 50 times, I have planned and organized provincial and municipal large-scale painting and calligraphy activities.

2002年荣获河北省委宣传部授与“文化科技三下乡先进个人”。

2002年曾荣获河北省民政厅授与“省社团先进工作者”。

2004年在邯郸市博物馆隆重举办王旭东书法展。

2015年，中国社会科学界联合会授与“全国社科工作先进个人”称号。

2011一2013年文化部文化市场发展中心艺术品评估委员会评定书法作品每平尺7000~8000元。
